Karen O’Lone-Hahn is the author/illustrator of “Millicent and the Faraway Moon” (read it at <http://www.karenolonehahn.com/koh_shop/Millicent.pdf> This is a workshop in which she will share the ins and outs of getting started in self publishing. Mainly for people who have written their book and don’t know where to begin with the process of bringing their book to market, but folks who have yet to put pen to paper can benefit as well. Topics covered will include book types, avenues to self publishing, layout, pagination, working with an illustrator (or doing it yourself), costs, resources and much more.
